I had/have a talent
that I walked away from
I lost my way
through choices
made from emotions
from lust
from misdirected impulse thinking
I temporarily forgot who I was
what I came here to do
forever altering the path

Now I am back
Sure I am the same as when I
started
But unsure of what lies ahead
even how to continue
since the path is broken
the opportunity lost

I start again in trust
and faith
that I will achieve
what I came to do
knowing the hands that guide me
will show me the way
