These are unsettling times
It’s difficult at times to know which way to turn
sickness, violence, war in every direction

The environment refuses to bow down to our abuse
and screams back at us to listen
its warnings are strong, loud and clear

If we could learn to love ourselves
we could love others
and therefore learn to love the environment
that sustains us
